Robert Jay lives in Long Beach where he also works as a longshoreman. He can often be found walking and biking the streets, discovering different routes, turning new corners, ever-vigilant and on the prowl for more poetry and photography material. Largely inspired by a short and minimalist writing style in the spirit of American Haiku, he writes of the subtle beauty of everyday life close to us. Personally trained by legendary Russian Strongmen, he also likes to practice random feats of strength to see just what he’s capable of.
