Tiffany Dawn Hasse

Tiffany Hasse
Inspired by obsessive compulsive disorder, Tiffany Dawn Hasse makes it a point to prolifically articulate her experience of having OCD through her words coupled with a tic disorder. Originally debuting at Avanti Cafe in 2012, Tiffany has also stepped up to the mic at the SOBECA art walk of Costa Mesa, Viento y Agua, Au Lac,and even at UCLA. While she admits that she has studied historical poets but little, Tiffany has been influenced by contemporary artists today such as, Rachel Kann, Eminem, Aesop Rock, Saul Williams, and Eyedea and Abilities with their mastery of word play. Realizing that labels are irrelevant, Tiffany has also been acknowledged as a spoken word artist, wordsmith, savant, actor, and underground rapper. All in all she has a love of poetry and adamantly admits that she would probably never have written if she wasn’t tormented by her OCD and her need to make things feel “just right.” You can hear her recite her poems on her Facebook page at Tiffany Dawn Hasse, visit the website restorationrock.com, request a poem in person for her to perform, or see her on youtube. Tiffany is currently working on her anthology entitled, “A Documented Dabbling” to eventually release her collection of poems public.
