We are looking to showcase the wealth of poetic and artistic diversity across the Greater Long Beach and surrounding Southern California area. Submission period is now closed until summer 2017.
- Poetry:
- Unpublished or published poems (as long as you tell us who to acknowledge) are acceptable.
- Send no more than 3 poems to CadenceCollectiveLBP@gmail.com, in a single Word document or, only if needed, pasted into the body of the email.
- Art: Send in 5-10 high resolution images as .jpeg attachments to CadenceCollectiveLBP@gmail.com.
- Include a brief explanation of your connection to Long Beach or Southern California (unless we have met in person) and a short 3rd person bio.
- If you have any, include links to your website, Facebook page, blog, or any way you’d like the public to know more about you.
- Upon acceptance of your work, we will ask for a photo or image for your bio page.
- Submission window is open on a rolling basis.

How many poems per submission are an acceptable amount?
Great question! 3-6 is reasonable as long as they aren’t 6 poems that take up 10 pages!
Cadence can bloggers/poets of other parts of the world contribute?
This site is focused on poets and artists in the Southern California area, but there are many other sites looking for poets from all over the world!
