Veronica Durre has lived in Long Beach most of her life. She has been writing poetry since she was a teenager. She recently within the last year started doing Open Mic Poetry Readings. And now even facilitates one once a month at Apostrophe Books in Belmont Shore. She enjoys photography, walking and exploring nature, and is an animal lover. She owns an 18 year old cat named Shanzi.
