Erica Brenes currently teaches writing, reading, critical thinking, and literature at Golden West College in Huntington Beach. Before becoming a professor, she studied Creative Writing and then English Literature at UCLA and CSULB, respectively. She’s inspired by the beauty she meets in and around Southern California as well as by her interactions with her amazing students, her supportive family, and her very loving husband.
