Betsy Mars has lived in Torrance intermittently for more than half her life. After a number of difficult years, she is rediscovering her love of writing – poetry in particular – and has been thrilled to find an occasional spot at the table among this great community of writers in the LA area. Her work has been published in several anthologies, by Silver Birch Press multiple times, and is soon to be published in the California Quarterly Journal. She is a lover of all animals, but had loved this particular mouse with a special passion.
