Sophia Morales studied Fiction at Cal State Long Beach, and earned her M.F.A. in 2011. Since then, her short stories have taken a back seat to her poems. Her creative blog, Letters from the Playa, feature her ongoing experimentation with poetry forms and prose. Her work has been published in Verdad Magazine and RipRap. She now lives in Garden Grove and teaches English and Writing at Cal UMS in Anaheim.
