October is all about CSULB, baby! This month we have two Cal State Long Beach poets, Zachary Locklin and Eric Morago. Come out to Fox Coffeehouse on Monday, October 12th at 7 pm. Bring your own poems to read on the open reading list, with sign ups starting at 6:45.

Zachary Locklin is the author of My Beard Supports Nothing: The Facebook Poems. His work has been featured in Pearl, Slagdrop, Poetic Diversity, and Beside the City of Angels: an Anthology of Long Beach Poetry, among others. He teaches creative writing, composition, and literature at California State University, Long Beach.
Eric Morago is a Pushcart Prize nominated poet who believes performance carries as much weight on the page, as it does off. He is the author of What We Ache For (Moon Tide Press, 2010) and Here for the Friction (Orange Ocean Press, 2012). Currently he teaches for Red Hen Press’s Writing in the Schools Program, is an associate reviewer for Poetix, and serves as a poetry editor for FreezeRay. Eric has an M.F.A in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach, and lives in Los Angeles.
