Sarah Thursday calls Long Beach, California her home, where she advocates for local poets and poetry events. Along with editing Cadence Collective, she co-hosts 2nd Mondays Poetry Party with one of her poetry heroes, G. Murray Thomas, at Fox Coffeehouse. She also started a small press called Sadie Girl Press to publish and design books of poetry and art. She feels blessed to have a rich life filled with all the things she loves; music, poetry, friends, family, art, teaching, and possibilities. She has been published in various places online and in print, has published several chapbooks, a full length poetry story/collection called All the Tiny Anchors. and a new poetry with music CD/chapbook, How to Unexist.
